Having known Nikki for over 15 years and having lived with her twice, I have seen first hand what she has been through. She has always tried to keep her dignity and independance and has the most beautiful heart of anyone I know. To look at her you would have no idea of the obstacles that life has thrown her, however she picks herself up and soldiers on. If there is anyone that you know that needs a reason to put one foot forward and 'climb that ladder of life' then please buy this book and pass it on to them. It will truly inspire!

Hey sweetheart , Just finished reading your book. First book I've read right thru from end to end in a day.It got a little damp in places, Renee was with me looking at it as well...and dribbling!
Couldn't put your book down.I wonder if there is another one in the pipeline for the future?

Congratulations Nicky on publishing your book!! Having battled with Crohns over the last few years myself,it has been fantastic to meet with Nicky and share some of our experiences. It amazes me how positive towards life she is after been through so much! This can been seen in her book just how determined she is to make the most of life. Nicky is a true inspiration to so many people!

Nicky, I really really loved your book. Thank you for taking the time to write this honest and sometimes confronting book. I was a little scared knowing what lay ahead for me, but on the other hand it was reassuring to know what I am going through is "normal", as sometimes you feel so alone in dealing with this disease. You are an inspiration and I wish you health and happiness always. Thank you for making a difference to my life.

Having read the journey of what Nichola Hamilton has been through gives you appreciation of how lucky you can be if you have good health. It gives a honest and brave journal of her experience in suffering with a disease that is growing and a insight to her family and I believe Nichola is a inspiration to anyone that reads Climbing the Ladder of Life.

Climbing The Ladder of Life is a very easy book to read, and Nichola's sharing of her experiences with Crohn's condition will greatly benefit others in similar situations, and makes others appreciate good health.
